Senior Mendix Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Mendix applications using best-practice architecture and development patterns
• Develop complex domain models, microflows, nanoflows, workflows, integrations, and UI components
• Build custom components using Java actions and implement robust Mendix security models
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems via REST, SOAP, OData, Kafka, and identity providers
• Mentor and coach junior and intermediate-level Mendix developers
• Lead technical discussions, solution-design workshops, and sprint planning sessions
• Design and deliver robust Mendix mobile apps with emphasis on offline synchronization and performance

Requirements

• Mendix Advanced or Expert certification
• 3+ years of experience developing Mendix applications
• Expert-level knowledge of domain modeling, microflows, nanoflows, and security models
• Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript for custom actions and debugging
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and optimization
• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and API design
• Hands-on experience with On-Premise or cloud environments (Mendix Cloud, Azure, or OpenShift)
• Proven ability to design and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading Mendix development teams
• Experience with Mendix tools such as QSM
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Participation in Mendix Capture the Flag (CTF) events
