Senior Member Technical Staff - DevOps

Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and troubleshoot DevOps managed shared services
• Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure to support the SDLC
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software releases
• Automate system configurations, deployments, and monitoring to reduce manual intervention
• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Research and implement new DevOps technologies and best practices

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Apache Cassandra Administration and Architecture
• 4+ years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
• Proficiency with AWS services and interacting with AWS APIs
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker
• Expertise working in Linux and cloud environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical subject

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-tier architectures including load balancers, caching, and networking
• Experience with secrets management tools like Hashicorp Vault
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
• Active participation in the open-source community or a personal technical blog/Git repository
