Senior Member of Technical Staff, Developer Experience

Responsibilities

• Cut CI build times through monorepo tuning, incremental builds, and remote caching
• Own dev-environment reliability, ensuring local/staging/CI parity and fast booting
• Quarantine flaky tests via detection, isolation, and dashboarding
• Wire the eval stack into CI with pre-merge gates and production trace monitoring
• Ship PR preflight automation including service summaries and critical-path warnings
• Build the internal developer platform including service templates and internal CLI commands

Requirements

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience
• Experience in developer-platform, CI-CD, build-infra, or dev-environment roles
• Proven track record of building tools adopted by engineers at high-growth companies
• Deep experience with at least one monorepo build system
• Experience integrating an eval framework into a real CI pipeline
• Proficiency using AI in daily coding workflows
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with devcontainers or cloud dev environments
• Custom lint-rule authoring
• Open-source developer-tools contributions
