Senior Medical Science Liaison (Nephrology)

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to disseminate clinical and scientific information.
• Contribute to the medical plan and Medical Affairs strategy by providing external stakeholder insights.
• Engage HCPs in response to scientific educational and research needs using available Vertex resources.
• Represent Vertex at medical congresses through scientific session coverage, booth staffing, and delivering conference debriefs.
• Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to capture interaction details and inform internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulatory frameworks and Vertex policies.

Requirements

• Saudi nationality.
• Physician or Pharmacist degree with a strong scientific background.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the Pharma or Biotech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Nephrology or kidney disease management.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (oral and written).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned Western Region territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in a matrix environment.
