Senior Medical Science Liaison (Nephrology)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical and academic community, establishing and maintaining relationships with Healthcare Providers (HCPs).
• Disseminate clinical and scientific information regarding Vertex's nephrology compounds in a timely, ethical, and stakeholder-focused manner.
• Contribute to the medical plan by providing external stakeholder insights and assisting in the execution of the Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage HCPs in response to scientific educational and research needs using available Vertex resources.
• Represent Vertex at medical congresses through scientific session coverage, booth staffing, and routine interactions with thought leaders.
• Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to capture interaction details and inform internal stakeholders.
• Manage territory planning and ensure all activities comply with Vertex policies and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• Saudi nationality.
• Physician or Pharmacist degree with a strong scientific background.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the Pharma or Biotech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Nephrology or kidney disease areas.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (oral and written).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned Western Region geography.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in a matrix environment.
• Strong ability to appraise medical literature and present scientific information credibly.
