Senior Medical Communication Specialist

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate and balanced clinical information on Precision Oncology products to internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, create, and coordinate the development of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Critically review company-developed materials to ensure scientific accuracy and consistency with best practices and company policies.
• Monitor primary, secondary, and tertiary medical literature to evaluate data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to the development of dossiers, technology assessments, guidelines, and regulatory submissions.
• Support scientific conferences by creating planners and attending medical meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Marketing, and Legal teams.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Pharm.D., D.O., or M.D.; OR a Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 2 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience in molecular diagnostics or life sciences.
• Proven experience in medical writing, copy editing, and proofreading.
• Strong knowledge of publication guidelines, including ICMJE, GPP4, and GPCAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and reference management software.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for work-related duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in writing and publications (e.g., AMWA, CMPP).
