Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, and sensors.
• Promote a safe working environment by strictly following all safety procedures.
• Manage work orders within the CMMS, including tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts usage.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Mentor and train junior and contract technicians to support professional growth.
• Manage vendor relationships and maintain positive communication across the operations facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years of experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
• Proven experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Direct experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
