Senior Mechanical Tendering Technical Office Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical and financial proposals for tenders
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Develop value engineering solutions to optimize project cost and efficiency
• Design, review, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems
• Ensure mechanical works comply with project specifications, codes, and industry standards
• Coordinate with architects and civil engineers to integrate mechanical systems
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors for quality and timely completion
• Support procurement activities by reviewing material and equipment specifications
• Prepare project documentation including progress reports and as-built drawings
• Participate in technical meetings and client discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or contracting
• Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Proven experience in tendering, cost estimation, and proposal preparation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
