Senior Mechanical Services Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical repairs and installations of heating and plumbing systems
• Conduct related maintenance activities to ensure efficient campus operations
• Respond to service calls as part of a rotating 24-hour pager duty schedule
• Work onsite at the Bowdoin College campus in Brunswick, Maine

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of vocational or trades training
• Master Plumber License
• Valid Maine Class C driver’s license
• 7-10 years of direct work experience in heating and plumbing systems maintenance, repair, and installation

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 or more years of relevant work experience
• Licensed Gas/Oil technician
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
