Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance team activities to ensure efficient operation of industrial equipment and minimize downtime
• Lead and manage maintenance technicians by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring team training and motivation
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to optimize equipment reliability and reduce costs
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively to meet maintenance goals
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance, maintenance metrics, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering or a related technical diploma
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment
• Proven knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance procedures for industrial machinery
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols
• Must be a resident of Suez
