Senior Mechanical Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and direct a subgroup of engineers and technicians focused on Nuclear, Aerospace, and Industrial market segments
• Build and empower a high-performance team through mentorship, onboarding, and performance management
• Drive the execution of engineering processes including product design, manufacturing automation, and quality systems
• Partner with Project Management to assign resources and with Sales to lead bid opportunities and cost-effective proposals
• Identify and communicate engineering risks, opportunities, and status to senior leadership
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality safety-related instrumentation on time and within budget

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronics preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product design and manufacturing
• Proven experience leading and managing teams in a cross-functional environment
• Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and data analysis
• Strong root-cause analysis and functional problem-resolution skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
• ASME Certification
• Six Sigma or Lean certifications
