Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical works including HVAC, chilled water systems, plumbing, fire protection, and associated utilities
• Review and manage mechanical design drawings, calculations, and technical submittals
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines
• Monitor site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination challenges
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety requirements, and quality objectives
• Prepare technical reports and provide engineering support to the project team

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of experience with proven senior-level responsibility on large-scale construction projects
• Mandatory Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration
• Proven experience in data centres, industrial, or mission-critical facilities
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling, and fire protection
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASHRAE and NFPA
• Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
