Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, air distribution, ventilation, and building automation
• Incorporate sustainable design methods and prepare green rating system documentation
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Science & Technology
• Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of the project team
• Perform QA/QC on all project phases and maintain strong client relations
• Assist in procurement efforts, including marketing, proposals, and project interviews

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year university
• Active P.E. License
• 15+ years of professional engineering experience
• Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM
• Strong understanding of advanced engineering principles and calculations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• LEED AP BD+C certification
• Project management or supervisory experience
• Evidence of public recognition of expertise (e.g., articles, conference papers, or ASHRAE committee membership)
