Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop next-generation mechatronic systems including actuators, sensors, and mechanical subsystems
• Drive mechanical design of components and systems from early concept through mass production
• Rapidly prototype and test designs to iterate quickly
• Build and execute test plans for functionality, reliability, and safety
• Partner cross-functionally with ID, EE, software, quality, and manufacturing teams
• Work with overseas manufacturing partners on feasibility, cost, and repeatability
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Support factory builds and root-cause investigations through EVT/DVT/PVT and MP

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5–7+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for consumer products or electromechanical devices
• Expertise in integrating sensors, actuators, motors, and embedded control systems
• Deep knowledge of materials, mechanisms, plastics design, and DFM/DFA
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks
• Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners
