Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for AI robots
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate designs
• Create engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing
• Work closely with vendors to design and develop various modules
• Perform prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
• Experience with FEA and other simulation tools
• Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production
• Requires 5 days/week in-office collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics, mechatronics, or automation
• Familiarity with actuators, sensors, and control systems
• Rapid prototyping techniques
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in robotics
