Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support global cross-functional teams for assigned supplier transfer projects
• Identify high-impact supplier transfer projects to improve productivity, quality, and Total Cost of Ownership
• Manage design updates to improve manufacturability, performance, quality, and cost
• Conduct supplier design reviews and ensure adequacy of part qualification activities
• Execute phase in – phase out (PIPO) planning for transfer projects
• Support make/buy analysis and early supplier involvement
• Use project management tools to communicate plans and manage risks
• Participate in Dfx conventions to build cost reduction business cases

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of proven design engineering and project management experience leading cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in Engineering
