About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop preliminary and detailed engineering designs for HVAC, ventilation, pumping stations, and other mechanical systems for rail, transit, and industrial facilities
  • Perform manual or software-based calculations to support design accuracy
  • Coordinate and integrate mechanical designs with other engineering disciplines
  • Select products, review shop drawings, and approve field test and commissioning reports
  • Develop technical reports and white papers
  • Perform field surveys and field testing as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility or building mechanical system design
  • Proven design experience in HVAC, ventilation, and pumping systems
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months
  • Proficiency in CAD and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit
  • Ability to travel as required by the business
