Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure all mechanical works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with Kier standards and UK law
• Review and optimise designs with the design team and clients to ensure efficient, safe construction that meets all contract requirements
• Manage change control processes, quality control procedures, and maintain accurate project records
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations and supporting their development
• Work collaboratively within Kier's "one team" delivery model to achieve project goals within agreed timescales and budgets

Requirements

• Industry accredited qualification in Mechanical services
• CSCS and SMSTS accreditation
• Experience managing delegated work packages and demonstrating strong project engineering capability
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
