About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all mechanical works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with Kier standards and UK law
- Review and optimise designs with the design team and clients to ensure efficient, safe construction that meets all contract requirements
- Manage change control processes, quality control procedures, and maintain accurate project records
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations and supporting their development
- Work collaboratively within Kier's "one team" delivery model to achieve project goals within agreed timescales and budgets
Requirements
- Industry accredited qualification in Mechanical services
- CSCS and SMSTS accreditation
- Experience managing delegated work packages and demonstrating strong project engineering capability
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
