Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Lead mechanical installation and commissioning activities on-site to ensure compliance with design and quality standards
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems into overall projects
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to monitor the progress and quality of mechanical works
• Identify and resolve technical engineering issues and provide guidance to contractors and project teams
• Ensure strict adherence to applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Support procurement activities by reviewing material submittals and liaising with suppliers
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and progress updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Proficiency in mechanical design software and engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors and suppliers
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s codes, standards, and regulations
