Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and release mechanical components of the HV battery pack, including enclosures and mounting structures
• Create and manage 2D and 3D CAD drawings of battery pack assemblies and components
• Develop part and assembly models using GD&T
• Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA to identify potential failure modes
• Collaborate with CAE and testing teams to ensure performance targets are met
• Coordinate development, assembly, and delivery of prototype battery packs
• Work with supply chain and supplier quality teams to ensure high-quality component delivery

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in HV battery design or automotive product design
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or V6
• Experience in design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
• Solid understanding of materials and mechanical joining techniques
• Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional efforts
• Excellent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cell-to-pack (CTP) or cell-to-chassis (CTC) battery architectures
• Hands-on knowledge of battery modules and pack design
• Familiarity with thermal systems and battery enclosure sealing methods
