About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead concept development and 3D CAD design for mechanical subsystems using SolidWorks
- Integrate high-voltage and low-voltage electrical components into mechanical enclosures with proper thermal management
- Partner with manufacturing to implement DFM/DFA principles and manage full Balance-of-Plant documentation
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of commercial product design experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and Thermal/Structural FEA tools
- Proven experience packaging electromechanical systems and taking designs from concept to production
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PEM electrolysis or fuel cell systems
- Expertise in high-purity gas systems and water purification technologies
- Multi-physics and CFD simulation experience (ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL)
