Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, prototype, and design the hardware subsystems of next-generation 3D printers
• Act as a technical leader within a multidisciplinary group of mechanical, systems, and electrical engineers
• Design, review, and guide the work of junior engineering colleagues
• Prototype new mechanisms, test materials, and research solutions to complex 3D printing challenges
• Ensure product performance, manufacturability, and reliability through rigorous engineering

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical engineering
• Proven background in electro-mechanical systems
• Experience with the full product development cycle
• Knowledge of various manufacturing methods for high-volume and high-performance products
• Ability to provide a portfolio or work samples demonstrating previous engineering achievements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with thermal systems, optical systems, or sensor design
• Experience with polymers and polymer chemistry
• Skills in electronics, circuit design, or Python programming
• Experience with PLM/document control systems or industrial design
