Responsibilities
- Own and understand designs related to fluids, thermal, and structural subsystems
- Design fusion hardware within 3D CAD software (e.g. NX)
- Perform analysis with in-house and out-of-house tools (e.g. ANSYS Fluent)
- Hold design reviews to gather feedback and iterate to a fully functioning system
- Work hands-on alongside experienced technicians to implement hardware designs
- Troubleshoot hardware issues on integrated fusion generators
- Improve subsystem requirements and design novel hardware
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 7+ years of professional experience delivering full-scope engineering projects
- Experience applying engineering first-principles and method-based thinking
- Hands-on exposure to fluids, mechanical, and thermal engineering disciplines
- Advanced experience with CAD software such as NX or Solidworks
