Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales team to provide technical support and contribute to project proposals
• Design mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software
• Generate detailed engineering drawings, documentation, and bills of materials
• Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source components
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems
• Support manufacturing and assembly processes with technical guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of ten years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Expertise in statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
• Experience with FEA and CFD analysis
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional engineering (PE) license
• Experience with parametric modeling and generative design
• Knowledge of mechatronics, robotics, and automation systems
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Experience in project management and team leadership
