About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of full electrode assemblies or complex sub-assemblies for battery cells
  • Develop functional requirements and DFMEAs in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Perform hands-on prototyping and collaborate with manufacturing to implement DFM/DFA feedback

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Master's)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD modeling and drafting
  • Expertise in DFMA for sheet metal and injection molded plastic components

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with batteries, energy storage, fuel cells, or electrolyzers
  • Experience with plating technologies
  • Experience with mechanical system verification using FEA
