Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of BESS, power conversion systems, and ground support equipment
- Own all project documentation, CAD models, mechanical drawings, and BOMs
- Work directly with fabricators and contract manufacturers to ensure hardware is built to spec
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with a BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven ability to take a design from blank paper through fabricated assembly independently
- 3+ years of experience with 3D CAD systems and generating mechanical drawings per ANSI standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with thermal and fluid design for air-cooled or liquid-cooled electronic systems
- Experience with high voltage systems or energy storage/EV industries
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
