About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide project oversight as Project Discipline Lead, integrating design activities in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Lead or support a mechanical discipline team, including engineers and designers, to deliver project objectives.
  • Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the planning and execution of mechanical engineering work, including participating in project meetings and preparing progress updates.
  • Contribute to procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, such as preparing requisitions and reviewing vendor documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical questions or discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 8 or more years of relevant professional experience, including experience in the nuclear sector.
  • Experience supporting projects in nuclear, refining, chemical, or petrochemical facilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in West Virginia.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
  • Willingness to work in or relocate to the Charleston, West Virginia area.
