Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering development and integration of mechanical system designs for commercial water chilling systems.
• Perform thermodynamic-based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration, and pumping.
• Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds product development requirements.
• Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components, analyzing results against design specifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with service, operations, and product marketing teams to launch designs into production.
• Confirm product design performance, capability, and reliability within engineering product test laboratories.
• Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of HVAC product design experience, OR Master's Degree and 3+ years of HVAC product design experience.
• 1+ years of experience in new product development and/or sustaining engineering.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, and pressure vessel design.
• Knowledge of refrigerant system performance analysis and compression application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Project leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills, primarily in English.
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills.
