Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of innovative products from concept through prototype and validation
• Perform engineering analysis, CAD design, prototyping, testing, and design verification
• Provide hands-on mechanical engineering support in laboratory and test environments
• Support project execution, task planning, and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain project schedules, estimates, and resource plans
• Identify technical risks and drive mitigation strategies
• Act as a technical bridge between customers and internal engineering teams
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of product development or mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo
• Experience designing electromechanical products and mechanical systems
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and design verification experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFA, and materials
• Strong practical mechanical aptitude and comfort with hardware and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rapid prototyping or applied R&D environments
• Technical project leadership or product development execution
• Client-facing engineering or technical presentations
• Experience with robotics, automation, or motion control systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering and cross-functional development
