Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate HVAC systems, products, components, and applications
• Perform inspections on completed project work and equipment installations to capture Real Property data
• Interpret construction and engineering contract drawings and specifications to ensure design compliance
• Provide scope definition, specifications, studies, and budgeting for mechanical engineering project proposals
• Conduct technical reviews of Military Construction (MILCON) and facility projects
• Perform root cause analysis on systems failing prematurely or systemically
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and civil engineers during the design phase
• Support project design teams including architects, engineers, and technical staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-certified program
• 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering programs
• Ability to identify and understand site architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection components
• Experience planning or performing facility maintenance, improvements, or repairs
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT or PE certification
• Experience working with the Air Force or Department of Defense (DOD)
