Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and design fuel delivery systems for power generation, including Natural Gas, CNG, LNG, and diesel engines
• Prepare professional drawings, including 3D images, construction drawings, schematics, Piping and Instrument Drawings (PID), and site layouts
• Develop project design packs (PDP) to meet client Scopes of Work (SOW)
• Support commercial proposals, installation, and commissioning processes
• Produce construction documentation such as piping sizing and regulation system requirements
• Support reliability and availability studies for power generation applications
• Travel 30-40% for onsite visits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar engineering position
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards including ASME, ISO, ASTM, and ANSI
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical and time management skills
• Willingness to travel 30-40% for onsite project support

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Gas equipment certification
