About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Perform site walk-downs and inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Review and approve mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
  • Prepare detailed site reports, inspection records, and progress updates
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision for Buildings & Places (B&P) projects
  • Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM tools
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, building codes, and construction methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, or LEED
