About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Perform site walk-downs and inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Review and approve mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and civil engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Prepare detailed site reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision for Buildings & Places (B&P) projects.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, building codes, and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, or LEED.
