Senior Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Assess customer and legal requirements to identify gaps and translate them into technical specifications
• Plan mechanical design tasks and support lead engineers in calculating development costs and timing
• Develop product concepts based on technical requirements and field experience
• Evaluate various design concepts from internal, competitor, and supplier sources using DFA and 6sigma methods to find the best cost options
• Adhere to design rules and standards while fostering product standardization

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive Product Engineering
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle (CV) brake products
• Fluency in English
