Senior Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D design and product documentation for robust turbocharger products
• Participate in product development and change management processes throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Take design responsibility for specific tasks and project activities
• Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams including project management, procurement, manufacturing, and service
• Support first article and quality standard approvals for Asian cooperation partners
• Contribute to the quality assurance process, including the resolution of non-conformances

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical design, engineering (MSc, BSc, Technician), or an equivalent qualification
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally with rotating machinery, turbomachinery, or engine components
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, preferably Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE
• Familiarity with modern ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Strong problem-solving mindset, sense of ownership, and initiative
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
