Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design sheet metal components, enclosures, and electrical panels
• Optimize packaging for weight, volume, thermal performance, and IP sealing
• Perform conceptual designs, theoretical calculations, and tolerance stack analyses
• Develop and execute test plans to validate subsystems and product performance
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for testing and field deployment issues
• Collaborate with manufacturers, assembly teams, and mold designers
• Document product development cycles including FMEA, DFX, and DVP

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Expertise in structural design, thermal systems, and electro-mechanical packaging
• Strong understanding of fluid systems, heat transfer, and refrigeration basics
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and IP sealing
• Solid knowledge of materials including metals, plastics, composites, and elastomers
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to production
