About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist in the maintenance and repairs of the fleet of equipment and vehicles
- Mentor apprentice mechanics and provide guidance to team members regarding operational challenges
- Audit fleet work orders to ensure daily completion
- Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with parts ordering
- Support the procurement and disposal of assets
- Comply with all federal and provincial laws, company policies, and safety regulations
Requirements
- Completion of a 4-year apprentice program for Automotive Technicians
- Journeyperson certification
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Ability to provide and maintain basic mechanic tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
