Responsibilities

• Write pedagogy, practice exercises, and assessments for grades 3–6 mathematics
• Sequence lessons to align with cognitive development and learning progressions
• Anticipate common mistakes and misconceptions to build corrective pathways
• Partner with designers, behavioral scientists, and technologists to design learning experiences
• Integrate motivational principles like self-determination theory and growth mindset into content
• Design scaffolded instruction that supports learner-centered experiences

Requirements

• 5+ years of classroom teaching experience in grades 3–6 mathematics
• Strong background in instructional design for digital and interactive environments
• Deep understanding of cognitive development and learning dependencies
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in edtech or digital content creation
• Graduate-level training in education, instructional design, or learning sciences
• Experience designing content for adaptive or personalized learning systems
• Familiarity with self-determination theory or other motivational frameworks
