Senior Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Perform Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in SAP to ensure operational requirements meet the Master Production Schedule
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and monitor material release status
• Manage end-to-end inventory, including pricing, safety stock, lead times, and FIFO/FEFO processes
• Generate and issue quarterly supplier forecasts and recurring material readiness heatmaps
• Maintain Master Data accuracy in SAP for all material components
• Manage Short Term Exception Management (STEM) to resolve schedule conflicts
• Develop and maintain KPIs for supplier performance, such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF)
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, S&OE meetings, and cross-functional site reviews

Requirements

• Honor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related business discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience
• Proficiency in SAP is essential
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a GMP environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply Chain Certification (e.g., APICS)
• Project Management or Lean Certification
• Experience in planning or purchasing within a pharmaceutical environment
• Experience managing direct material categories, specifically chemicals or Single Use Technologies (SUTs)
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar data analytics tools
