About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead plant material flow and supplier management plans to support the Appliance Production System (APS)
  • Develop and own delivery, transportation, packaging, and shop floor flow plans
  • Drive Lean implementation including Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Single Piece Flow (SPF) methodologies
  • Manage transportation and logistics costs to reduce inventory and drive productivity
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and champion kaizen events within the department
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and talent development for a cross-functional manufacturing team
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, EHS requirements, and quality standards to maintain defect-free production

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in materials flow engineering, logistics, or supply chain
  • Proven experience with Lean Supply Chain production methods
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and knowledge of Robotic Languages
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to coach high-involvement work teams
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems in multi-functional settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or plant operations
  • Proven leadership record with demonstrated business impact
  • Six Sigma certification
