Senior Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the sourced pipeline, startup customer count, and attribution in Salesforce
• Identify and close expansion opportunities within the existing LA customer base
• Partner with the local sales representative to generate demand and close deals
• Meet with VCs, family offices, accelerators, and visit customer offices
• Build a founder community by hosting dinners, roundtables, and industry events
• Manage vertical relationships with accelerators, incubators, and industry networks
• Execute local brand presence through sponsorships, local press, and activations
• Run local growth experiments including geo-targeted paid media and ABM

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in marketing, community, partnerships, brand, or growth at a venture-backed company
• Proven track record of growing a business, product line, market, or community
• High agency and ability to work independently without constant direction
• Comfortable with face-to-face market engagement and event marketing
• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse industries (defense, consumer, media, tech)
• Proficiency with data, finance, and pipeline dashboards
• Existing network in the LA founder, operator, or VC community
• Experience with CRM hygiene and Salesforce
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a founder, operator, or accelerator alum
• Prior experience in defense tech, consumer brands, or the entertainment and media industry
