About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing Leadership to drive team initiatives, including planning cycles, offsites, and strategic cross-functional projects
- Translate executive vision into actionable plans and guide the broader team on operational needs
- Manage the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) meetings, including agendas, action items, and cascading communications
- Act as a force multiplier for the SVP by ensuring alignment and accountability across all marketing workstreams
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental performance and lead high-impact special projects such as MarTech audits or agency evaluations
- Collaborate with Communications/PR teams to draft high-level communications, including internal newsletters and board presentations
- Work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure leadership time is aligned with critical business priorities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in an operations, chief of staff, or senior project management role within a marketing or high-growth business environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams with high organization
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to distill complex strategy into clear, actionable instructions
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate roadblocks
- Ability to handle sensitive departmental information with discretion and good judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a similar high-growth marketing operations capacity
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus across different marketing functions and hold teams accountable without formal authority
