Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessments of current build processes, failure modes, and risk areas
• Own and continuously improve the PFMEA process
• Establish an IQC framework and develop supplier qualification criteria
• Collaborate with design and engineering to surface high-risk product failure modes
• Define control, verification, and sampling plans for production
• Define and track key quality metrics and drive CAPA processes
• Build the quality organization as the company scales
• Drive field investigations and customer-facing quality responses

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in battery, EV, power electronics, or hardware manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with PFMEA processes and RPN prioritization
• Experience establishing quality systems in early-stage environments
• Familiarity with battery-specific failure modes (cell, pack, thermal, BMS)
• Experience leading field failure investigations and root cause analysis
• Working knowledge of IQC processes and supplier quality management
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping products from prototype to customer deployment
• Exposure to standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, UL, IEC 62133, or UN 38.3
• Familiarity with safety risk assessment frameworks for battery production
• Experience building and leading a quality team
