About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment for product packaging
- Maintain machine uptime by performing fault clearing and resolving stoppages on automated lines
- Perform routine manufacturing operations including dispensing raw materials, material reconciliation, and line clearance
- Use Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages
- Conduct equipment inspections and generate work orders in the Maximo system
- Utilize computer systems such as SAP for material inventory and electronic batch records
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and follow standardized operating procedures
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and troubleshoot mechanical errors
Requirements
- High school diploma with 2 years of technical experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environments
- OR an Associate's degree with 6 months of technical experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Packaging environments
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Technology or Industrial Mechanics
- Experience working with highly automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Experience in a regulated Biotech or Medical Device manufacturing environment
- Proficiency using SAP transactions and electronic batch records
- Ability to diagnose malfunctions and perform complex equipment setup
