Senior Manufacturing Process Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of current layouts, cycle times, WIP, and production flow to identify improvement opportunities
• Design and develop future-state layouts focused on operational efficiency and capacity growth
• Perform line balancing, capacity, and throughput optimization studies
• Lead the implementation of improvements in production lines and ensure correct execution
• Coordinate floor activities to validate processes, changes, and new line configurations
• Design and optimize workstations, tools, and ergonomic solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and waste reduction
• Guide and support junior engineers in project analysis and execution
• Ensure sustainability of implemented improvements through KPI monitoring

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, processes, or continuous improvement
• Solid experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and line optimization
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, capacity, and KPIs
• Experience with CREO design tools
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)
• Experience with Oracle and TeamCenter systems
• Knowledge of line balancing, takt time, and capacity analysis
