Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sterilization engineering support, including cycle development, process validation, and equipment qualification.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Manage projects related to new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions.
• Conduct Process FMEAs, Process Validations, and CAPAs for sterilization non-conformances.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving tools.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or another Engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of people management experience.
• Experience with statistical techniques such as DOE and SPC.
• Solid knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
