About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and sterilization engineering support, including cycle development, process validation, and equipment qualification.
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Manage projects related to new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions.
- Conduct Process FMEAs, Process Validations, and CAPAs for sterilization non-conformances.
- Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving tools.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or another Engineering or technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience.
- Experience with statistical techniques such as DOE and SPC.
- Solid knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
