About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to accelerate the deployment of frontier compute.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve the facility EHS management system, policies, and safety procedures
  • Lead incident investigations using root-cause methodologies like 5-Why and fault tree analysis
  • Serve as the facility subject matter expert for automation safety, including robotic work cells, AGVs, and cobots
  • Conduct machine risk assessments per ANSI/RIA and ISO standards
  • Lead the facility ergonomics program using NIOSH, RULA, and REBA methodologies
  • Maintain OSHA 300/300A recordkeeping and ensure timely electronic submissions
  • Manage RCRA hazardous waste streams, manifests, and EPA compliance
  • Oversee hazardous materials management, including GHS/HazCom and SDS lifecycle
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate safety training programs for new hires and specialized certifications
  • Manage a small team of HSE specialists, including performance reviews and professional development

Requirements

  • 8+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing
  • 3+ years in a high-automation or capital-intensive industrial facility
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
  • Expertise in machine safety standards (ANSI/RIA R15.06, R15.08, ISO 10218, etc.)
  • Knowledge of EPA/RCRA regulations and hazardous waste management
  • Experience with GHS labeling and SDS management
  • Proficiency in industrial ergonomics (NIOSH, RULA, REBA)
  • Experience managing OSHA 300/300A recordkeeping

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry card
  • Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems
  • Lean or Six Sigma exposure
