About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support NASA program execution and day-to-day operational activities at Kennedy Space Center
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, safety, and quality teams to ensure alignment on technical and schedule objectives
  • Develop and review technical documentation, plans, procedures, and work instructions
  • Review and incorporate redlines to technical documents and program plans
  • Provide technical direction and clarification to production technicians during execution activities
  • Support issue identification, risk management, and the development of technical workarounds
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, readiness reviews, and milestone planning
  • Ensure all work complies with NASA, Boeing, and site-specific standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
  • 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience supporting NASA programs or other U.S. spaceflight and launch programs
  • Experience generating technical execution documentation and processing redlines
  • Experience providing technical direction to production or operations personnel
  • Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Ability to work onsite at Kennedy Space Center on the 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience supporting operations at Kennedy Space Center
  • Familiarity with human spaceflight, payload processing, or launch systems
  • Experience supporting NASA review boards and readiness reviews
  • Knowledge of configuration management, risk management, and AS9100 quality systems
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
