Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and conduct manufacturing technology R&D projects
• Partner with Design Engineering to incorporate Design for Manufacture (DFM)
• Design, procure, install, and validate assembly, test, and verification processes
• Support development builds to resolve issues and accelerate production ramp-up
• Take engineering ownership of production lines to improve yield and efficiency
• Triage and diagnose failures through deep technical investigations and root cause resolution
• Drive process improvements across manufacturing, test, and integration
• Contribute to change management and assess risks of design or process changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5+ years of experience for Level I or 8+ years for Level II
• Experience in assembly, integration, and test of complex systems
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA)
• Experience with PLM systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related engineering field
• Experience in the aerospace industry with launch vehicles or spacecraft
• Familiarity with composite materials and structures
• Hands-on experience with automation and robotics
• Experience with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, vacuum)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
