About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the build and integration of Neutron and associated flight hardware
- Develop con-ops, design, and drive build of ground support tooling and processes
- Develop build methods to increase throughput and reduce errors
- Support Neutron integration engineers with 1st and 2nd stage vehicle integration, fluid systems, avionics, and AFTS
- Develop and refine inspection, repair, assembly, and system test procedures
- Create clear work instructions for engineering and technicians
- Manage and track multiple priorities towards common project goals
- Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle processing
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in industrial, mechanical, or aerospace engineering, or related degree
- 5+ years of experience building and testing space launch vehicle or aerospace/defense hardware
- Demonstrated ability to model with 3D CAD and work with large assemblies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interfacing with mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive work instructions and test procedures
- Experience with launch vehicle subsystems including avionics, high pressure gas, and structures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with NX/Teamcenter
